About Us

When Fairbanks decides to take a Monday off, the Elks Lodge on Pioneer Road stays open. That's not a small thing in Alaska's interior, where options can disappear fast and a warm room with cold drinks feels like a genuine gift. Travelers rolling through on the Alaska highway corridor have called it a lifesaver, and the regulars who fill the bar stools on weekend evenings would probably agree.

The lodge runs exactly the way a good Elks lodge should: a full bar, game tables, an outdoor deck for those rare Fairbanks evenings worth sitting outside, and a big comfortable sit-down area that can handle a crowd. Bartenders like Julie, who earned a shout-out by name in more than one review, set the tone. Friendly, fast, and genuinely glad you came in.

Camping is available right on the property, with roughly eight RV sites offering electric and water hookups at $30 a night. Free showers and laundry are accessible when the lodge is open. For members and travelers alike, this is a place that earns its 4.5-star reputation the old-fashioned way: by actually being there when you need it.

What We Offer

The lodge offers a full-service bar as its social centerpiece, with seating for groups large and small and game tables for those who want a little friendly competition alongside their drinks. The outdoor deck opens up the experience when the weather cooperates, giving members and guests a place to take in the Fairbanks air.

For road-trippers and RV travelers, the on-site campground is a genuine find. About eight spots with electric and water hookups run $30 per night, and free shower and laundry facilities are available during lodge hours. It's a practical, affordable stop that beats most commercial campgrounds in the area on both price and atmosphere.

Beyond the bar and campground, the lodge hosts the full range of BPOE programming: community fundraisers, member events, and the kind of social calendar that has kept Elks lodges relevant for over 150 years. First-time visitors are welcome to explore membership, and traveling Elks members are always encouraged to stop in and sign the guest book.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
